Norfolk Day Community Fete - 27th July 2025

Slideshow accompaniment
Planxty Irwin and Thomas' Farewell, arranged by Jack Brothwell

A group of us played in Mattishall Village Church as part of their Norfolk Day celebrations. The plan had been for the fete to take place on Mattishall Village Green, but because of the poor weather forecast it was decided to move into the magnificent All Saints Church, parts of which date back to the 1400s. Despite the weather there was good turn out and the stall holders were kept busy as can be heard in the recordings.

Turn on (and off) each player in turn to hear some of the tunes we played.
