Bungay Folk Festival 6th September 2025
Workshop and Performance

Slideshow accompaniment
Maiden Lane, arranged by Sharon Pointeer
and The Shrewsbury Waltz, arranged by John Kirkpatrick

We were delighted to again be invited to play at the Bungay Folk Festival which took place in various venues around the town of Bungay in Suffolk. Holy Trinity Church could not have been a better setting for our music.

We started off with a workshop so people could 'have a go' at playing a concertina. We had both Anglo and English concertinas for people to try and by the end of the session many were able to play a scale or simple tune.

After a short break we then performed a selection of concertina band arrangements, which was well received by our audience. Even the dog seemed to be enjoying the music!

Turn on (and off) each player in turn to hear some of the tunes we played.
