Bungay Folk Festival 7th September 2024
Performance & Workshop

Slideshow accompaniment
Joyfully (Newkirk), from the Wilkinson Manuscripts
Adapted and arranged by Sharon Pointeer

We were pleased to be invited to play at the first ever Bungay Folk Festival which took place in various venues around the town of Bungay in Suffolk. We performed a selection of concertina band arrangements, followed by a workshop giving participants an opportunity to try an Anglo
or English concertina. Our audience enjoyed the performance and most of the people who
'had a go' were beginning to understand the layout of their chosen concertina system and
play a scale or simple tune by the end of the workshop.

Turn on (and off) each player in turn to hear some of the tunes we played.
